"Midori No Hibi" is a comedy-drama-romance anime which tells the story about Seiji Sawamura, a 17 year old high school student who is notorious in his campus for being a delinquent (which is only a misjudgment by many) and Midori Kasugano, a 16-year old high school student from an elite school who's taken a serious liking to Seiji since middle school (she used to watch Seiji ever since but IMO that doesn't make her a stalker yet). Seiji has been feared for his "Devil Right Hand" which he uses to OHKO delinquents from other schools. One day he woke up, and to his amazement, his mighty right hand has been replaced by a cute, tiny girl, Midori.


I find the story very interesting especially where Midori, being too shy, fails to express her feelings (or even come close) everytime Seiji passes her by in the same train station they take a ride from. Since middle school she held a strong liking for Seiji and even watched and waited for him everytime he takes a train ride to school. Being unable to convey her strong emotions ultimately led to her becoming Seiji's right hand. After becoming Seiji's right hand, Midori was finally able to speak out her true feelings for Seiji, but Seiji, being very confused and unhappy for losing his Devil Right Hand doesn't buy Midori's outbursts. Too bad for Midori eh? Well, turns out in the end Midori finally got her body back and Seiji finally learned to love Midori after spending months not only being a right hand but also a person willing to sacrifice for Seiji's love and affection. (tear.. T_T).


Lucky Midori, I wish I could be some girl's right hand too.. Well maybe not. Naughty things are beginning to cloud up my head haha. Anyways, lesson learned from this heart-warming series: cliche it may seem but "Be brave enough to express your feelings!" (I should pen this on my forehead or something.) or else you might grow out of someone's limb, or other body parts for that matter. some of which might not well be very comfortable.

Oh yeah, if you plan on watching this series, some episodes show a lot of fan service (naked breasts to be specific). So guys, you know what to do. :D
